Foothills Mix

Specially developed for performance in elevations of 3,000 to 8,000 feet. A resilient blend of cultivars capable of thriving in Alberta’s tough growing conditions. This mix has excellent cold and drought tolerance and is good for soil stabilization in poor soils.

A mix of perennial, cool season grasses with exceptional drought tolerance. This blend grows between 8 to 12 inches per year without maintenance and provides excellent coverage and soil stability. Great for areas where mowing is difficult or a longer aesthetic is desired.

Dryland Pasture Mix

A mixture of hardy, drought tolerant cool season grasses that thrive in Alberta’s harsh growing conditions. Alberta Green Dryland Pasture Mix provides a thick spring forage and with strong regrowth in the fall. This mix is well adapted to perform in many soil types and elevations of 3,000 to 10,000 feet. Ideal for areas not receiving regular irrigation. This mix will produce a hay crop depending upon available moisture.
