Yes, you can come pick up sod, seed, and fertilizer in Carp at the KOTT lumber yard. We have fresh sod available at our location throughout the growing season. Please call ahead of time to make sure we have enough sod available to fulfill your order. It’s best to reserve sod 24 hours in advance to ensure we have enough sod available on hand.
To figure out how much sod is required you’ll need to know the area of your yard in square feet. Sod is sold by the square foot, in rolls of 12 square feet in size (6’x2’), and is shipped on pallets. We recommend adding 5% to your total if your yard is a simple shape to account for loss, edge trimming and cutting. For more information on measuring, see our planning guide.
You can return your empty pallets for a refund of your deposit where you originally purchased your sod. Once returned, your deposit will be refunded to you.
We do not currently pick up the empty bag after use. If you wish to keep your empty bag, you may re-purpose it for storage, air conditioner covering, or composter. If you wish to bring them back to one of our locations, you may drop them off at 3186 Carp Road in Carp or 17259 Lafleche Rd in Moose Creek.
